Privacy Policy

Applies to the Toon Reminder (卡通提醒小助手) app for iPhone and iPad · Effective October 8, 2026

1. Information stored on your device

To work, the app keeps the following in its local storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party:

• Reminders you create (name, message, emoji, color, schedule, sound and vibration settings);
• Daily plans, special days, check-ins, streaks, make-up cards, quests, stars and achievements;
• Focus Mode settings and history (durations, custom text, chosen sounds, totals);
• App preferences such as quiet hours, theme and volume.

Some of this is shared with the app's own widgets and Live Activities through an App Group on the same device so they can display it. Deleting the app deletes this data. If you use iCloud or computer backups, the data may be included in those backups, which are handled by Apple; we can't access them.

2. Screen Time (App Limits and Super Focus)

App Limits and Super Focus use Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity), and only after you grant permission. The apps and categories you choose are given to us by iOS as opaque tokens. We can't see which apps they are, and your usage data never leaves your device.

3. Weather and approximate location

The weather widget is off by default. If you turn it on, the app saves an approximate location (about 1 km precision) on your device and uses it only to request weather from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). We don't receive or store your location. You can turn the feature off at any time in the app, or remove location access in iOS Settings.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Membership (yearly, monthly or lifetime) is purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment, billing and subscription management; we never receive your card, payment account or Apple Account details. The app only reads verified purchase records through Apple's StoreKit to unlock membership features. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

5. Notifications

Reminders and plan alerts are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification server is involved, and notification content stays on your device.

6. What we don't do

• We don't collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos or device identifiers;
• We don't use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or track you across apps and websites;
• We don't include third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs;
• We don't sell or share your information with anyone.

7. Children

The app doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it doesn't collect personal information at all.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date on this page. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the app.
